Oregon Arrives at Big Ten Media Days With a Splash
Oregon is in a new conference for the first time in a long time. There’s a ton of excitement about Oregon’s inaugural season with the Big Ten. After the collapse of the Pac-12 Oregon was fortunate to land within one of the nation’s premier conferences.
Apparently the media/PR team at Oregon decided to make a splash at Big Ten media days. Figuratively and literally. Oregon put a massive floating Duck in the White river in downtown Indianapolis. Which is where the Big Ten conducts its media days.
There is a ton of excitement about this upcoming season for Oregon. Both because of the hype around this team Dan Lanning has put together and because of the new conference.
Oregon plays its first game of the 2024 season against Idaho on Aug. 31. Its first Big Ten opponent however is a familiar foe. Oregon heads to UCLA on Sept. 28 to begin conference play. The following week Oregon hosts Michigan State in Autzen stadium for its first home conference game.
