Penn State now knows when it will meet FCS opponent Delaware during Week 2 of the 2023 college football season. The school announced Wednesday that streaming service Peacock, which is affiliated with NBC, will air the Sept. 9 contest from Beaver Stadium. The game will start at Noon. A previous version of this story stated kickoff would be at 3:30 pm. That has now been changed to Noon.

Despite their proximity to campus, the Nittany Lions have never met the Blue Hens. It’s also believed to be the program’s first streaming-only game.

This year’s meeting also marks the first time that UD has played a Big Ten team. It was announced in Aug. 2018 and also includes a Delaware return to Beaver Stadium in 2027.

Three other kick times were also announced on Wednesday. The Lions will battle UMass on Homecoming at 3:30 p.m. on a to-be-determined network on Oct. 14.

FOX has also confirmed that Penn State will meet Illinois on Sept. 16 and Michigan on Nov. 11 in its ‘BIG Noon Kickoff’ slot. BWI’s Ryan Snyder reported that both games were expected to be Noon starts on FOX inside The Lions Den forum earlier this month. But, leading rusher Kyron Cumby is back for another year.
