Coming off the best season in the history of the program, SMU Volleyball is poised to begin the 2024 season this Friday in Hawaii. The Mustangs finished 2023 at 26-7 and American Athletic Conference champions. They also advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

But this first journey into the ACC is going to be a challenge. Picked sixth in the preseason poll, SMU also faces one of the toughest non-conference schedules ever crafted.

Hilltop Visits took time to visit with head coach Sam Erger and Portal Transfer and libero Ellie Bolton to discuss this inaugural ACC season.
