Chandavian Bradley no longer part of Tennessee football

Redshirt freshman Chandavian Bradley is leaving the Tennessee football program. The Missouri native, who just wrapped up his first full year with the Vols is leaving effective immediately and will transfer to Hutchinson Community College sources tell Volquest.

Bradley would be eligible to play this fall by going to Junior College route.

Bradley ran into one spot of off field trouble early this spring when was cited for reckless driving on March 23, according to a University of Tennessee police report.

Bradley, 19, was issued a misdemeanor citation for reckless driving by UTPD during a traffic stop around 11 p.m. on March 23rd at the site of The Rock on campus near the Stokely athletic dorm.

Bradley will soon enter the transfer portal.

Bradley was a reserve defensive end and former four-star prospect from Platte City, Missouri. He has not played in a game for the Vols after taking a redshirt during his 2023 freshman season.

He was a team captain and defensive leader who helped lead Platte County High School to back-to-back playoff appearances in 2020 and 2021, including a trip to the Missouri Class 5A state championship game in 2020. He was a consensus four-star recruit by the major recruiting services.

He was considered the No. 18 edge rusher in the country and the No. 5 overall player in the state of Missouri by On3.com. He was invited to play in the 2023 Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando after being honored as a 2022 Missouri Football Coaches Association Second Team All-State selection He also Earned 2022 All-Metro and All-District honors.

Bradley was buried on the depth chart behind All-SEC standout James Pearce, Joshua Josephs and Caleb Herring. Bradley had been slow to put on the needed weight to play his position in the SEC.
