Tennessee Football will checker Neyland Stadium when Florida comes to Knoxville on October 12. The Vols on Tuesday morning announced designations for home games this season, with Homecoming set for November 9 against Mississippi State.

The Vols will host Champions Weekend on November 2, when Kentucky comes to town, honoring past champions. Tennessee will also honor its 2024 Tennessee Athletics Hall of Fame class during the Kentucky game. The annual Salute to Service weekend will be November 23 against UTEP.

Tennessee will recognize and celebrate the baseball team’s national championship and men’s basketball team’s SEC regular-season championship during the Alabama game on October 19. The Tennessee softball team will be recognized for its SEC championship during the Florida game.

Season Opener: Tennessee vs. Chattanooga, Aug. 31, 12:45 p.m. ET, SEC Network

Tennessee opens the season against Chattanooga on August 31 (12:45 p.m. Eastern Time, TV: SEC Network) and faces North Carolina State on September 7 in Charlotte (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC),

After hosting Kent State on September 14, the Vols open SEC play with road games at Oklahoma (September 21) and at Arkansas (October 5).

Tennessee hosts Florida and Alabama back-to-back on October 12 and October 19, respectively, then has home games against Kentucky (November 2) and Mississippi State (November 9) before going to Georgia on November 16.

Vols have sold out season tickets two straight years, 15,000+ on season-ticket interest list

Tennessee has sold out five of its seven home games this season. Limited single-game tickets remain for the season opener against Chattanooga and Senior Day against UTEP in November.

The Vols have sold out home games against Kent State, Florida, Alabama, Kentucky and Mississippi State.

Tennessee led the SEC in total home attendance (713,405) and average home attendance (101,915) last season. The Vols were ranked third and fourth nationally in those categories, respectively.

“People around the country are trying to figure out how to make their stadiums smaller,” Tennessee athletic director Danny White said during the Big Orange Caravan stop in Nashville in April. “We’re 102,000 strong and sold out for the season. We’re fortunate at Tennessee to have what I believe to be the best fanbase in sport.”

Neyland Stadium has been sold out 13 straight times, dating back to a 63-6 win over Akron on September 17, 2022. All seven home games last season were sold out and the final six home games of the 2022 season were capacity crowds.

This season marks the third time in 23 years that Tennessee has sold out football season tickets, doing so last May and in August 2016.

It was announced in April that Tennessee had sold out its season-ticket allotment of 70,500 for a second straight season and at the time there was a “season ticket interest list” of 15,000 fans.
