Tennessee Football Commit Jack Vandorselaer Talks After Tennessee Official Visit I Volquest I Gbo

Tennessee tight end commit Jack Vandorselaer has been to Knoxville many times but this weekend was another great opportunity to be in town for his official visit. He visited with Volquest about his latest trip to Rocky Top,

“I think it was good to be around some of the players,” Vandorselaer said. “Get to know them and their thought process behind it and what they think about it. Just understand what their life in the day of a Vol is.

“I got to spend time with the coaches previously and just getting behind and understanding what the players think and then being here.”

He got to hand out with George MacIntyre again and spend time with other players who are committed or could potentially end up in the class.

“It was really good to get to know them,” Vandorselaer said. “I think we have a good connection me and George. I can’t wait to get here and work with him more. I came here for the South Carolina game last season and I can’t wait for it. It’s breathtaking.”

And this visit just solidified his thoughts dating back to his commitment.

“100%,” Vandorselaer said. “There is no one else I’d rather play for than coach Heup, coach Abe and coach Halzle. I think me and George have a good connection. I think being around the players confirmed I made the right choice. This is definitely where I want to be.”

A naturally reserved kid, Vandorselaer found himself helping MacIntyre recruit players like David Sanders.

“Especially with David Sanders,” Vandorselaer said. “I think he is a big help and if we could get him it would be really good. For me, blocking if I have him by my side it really helps me also. Him protecting George to help get me the ball or other people the ball. I think I definitely found myself helping him out. Not necessarily trying to convince them but telling them why I picked Tennessee. Just show them my thought process.”
