BREAKING: 2024 Four-star wide receiver Debron Gatling commits to Texas A&M
Some big news is in for Texas A&M as 2024 Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton four-star wide receiver Debron Gatling has announced his commitment to the Aggies. He is the third commitment of the 2024 class for the Aggies, the second on the offensive side of the ball.
The Aggies are getting a dynamic wide receiver who is one of the top playmaker at star-studded Georgia powerhouse, Alpharetta Milton.
Gatling led the team the team in receiving this season with 932 yards and nine touchdowns.
The 6-foot-2 wideout is the No. 306 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Texas A&M has been at the top for some time
Gatling had Texas A&M high on his list since the pool party recruiting event in the last week of July. He then retuned to College Station for the Aggies win over Miami in September, which had a raucous environment for Gatling to take in. The cherry on top was a third visit when Gatling was in attendance for the win over LSU at the end on November.

Here is what Gatling said about his first visit to College Station and why they stuck out so much.
“Just the way they treated me,” he told On3. “The hospitality, the way the coaches were. Everything was just great all-around. There wasn’t anything I had to worry about. It was just perfect. It was just a perfect visit for real.”
Gatling currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $33k. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
