BREAKING: Texas A&M flips Four-Star WR Raymond Cottrell from Georgia
Texas A&M has flipped the commitment of four-star wide receiver Raymond Cottrell of Milton (FL) High from Georgia. The 6-foot-2, 210 pounder had been committed to the Bulldogs since November 2021.

It is being reported that Cottrell has actually already signed his national letter of intent with Texas A&M, which would he would have between Dec. 21-23. This was a recruiting development that was in the works behind the scenes.
Cottrell is the second wide receiver to sign in the Aggies’ 2023 class, joining four-star Micah Tease. The Aggies moved up two spots in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings, from No. 15 to No. 13.

Cottrell tells On3 why he chose the Aggies
“The people man.. that atmosphere is crazy. I believe that Texas A&M has one of the best coaching staffs in college football. It’s just a work in progress. Also I wanted to play with Evan Stewart excited to learn from him, and the other receivers that are also up there. I’ll be the 5th scholarship player there, and that gives me a chance to come in and make a impact off rip. Texas A&M is just all around great.”
