BREAKING: Texas A&M lands commitment from in-state LB Taurean York
Texas A&M has landed their second commitment of the hour after three-star Temple (Texas) High linebacker Taurean York announced his pledge to the Aggies.
York became a priority target in the last week after offering and his recommitment from Baylor. It was quick work from the Aggies staff to get York on campus for an official visit. It was only 24 hours post visit that York made his decision to commit.
In his senior season, York racked up 120 Tackles, 16 TFL, six sacks, four forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, 11 quarterback Pressures, and three total touchdowns.

York is the No. 829 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $21k. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
