Recently offered four-star DB visiting Texas A&M this weekend
2023 Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington four-star athlete Micah Tease announced on Twitter he’s visiting Texas A&M this weekend, joining a loaded group of visitors in College Station the first weekend of June.
The four-star previously noted to On3 that visiting Texas A&M this summer was a priority for him and now opens the month of June in College Station. Tease was only recently offered by the Aggies this spring and Texas A&M quickly made an impression, landing in his top ten list, which he announced last month, alongside Alabama, Oklahoma, Arkansas, USC, Michigan, Penn State, LSU, Notre Dame and Michigan State.
Of his top ten, there’s a good mix of schools recruiting him as a wide receiver and schools recruiting him at defensive back. The Aggies are pursuing Tease on the defensive side of the ball, as he primarily communicates with defensive backs coach TJ Rushing.
“They’re coming for [me] hard and they have a great track record with DBs, putting guys in the league,” he previously told On3. “And I like Coach (TJ) Rushing.”
Following the weekend visit to Texas A&M, Tease already has official visits planned to USC and Notre Dame in June. Lincoln Riley and Alex Grinch were mainstays in Tease’s recruitment while local at Oklahoma, and Donte Williams has injected a lot more enthusiasm into USC’s push. It’s a similar theme to Marcus Freeman, who has been hands-on recruiting Tease, who left with a very high opinion of Notre Dame after a visit there earlier this year.

Texas A&M has two defensive back commits to date in La Grange (Tex.) High four-star Bravion Rogers and Dallas (Tex.) South Oak Cliff four-star Jayvon Thomas. Both Rogers and Thomas have similar traits as Tease, in terms of versatility. Tease stars as a wide reciever on the offensive side of the ball, Thomas has some juice as a running back and Rogers is a do-it-all weapon for La Grange, contributing in all three phases of the game.
In addition to their pursuit of Tease, The Aggies continue to pursue some of the top defensive backs in the country including Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson five-star Tony Mitchell, Dallas (Tex.) South Oak Cliff four-star cornerback Malik Muhammad and Denton (Tex.) Guyer four-star Peyton Bowen, among a number of other prospects on the Aggies’ loaded board at the position.
Tease joins a loaded group of visitors expected in College Station this weekend. In addition to the four-star athlete out of Oklahoma, 2023 Pittsburg (Cali.) High four-star quarterback Jaden Rashada, 2023 Don Bosco Prep four-star offensive tackle Chase Bisontis, 2023 East St. Louis (Ill.) High four-star offensive tackle Miles McVay, 2023 Columbus (Ga.) Carver four-star interior offensive lineman Kelton Smith, 2023 Greenwich (Conn.) Brunswick School three-star offensive tackle Miles Walker, 2023 St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College four-star running back Jeremiyah Love and 2023 Oradell (N.J) Bergen Catholic four-star defensive lineman Sydir Mitchell are making official visits to College Station over the next couple days. 2023 Camden (S.C) four-star defensive tackle Xzavier McLeod, 2024 Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star safety Jordon Johnson-Rubell and 2025 Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth defensive lineman Ethan Utley are notable unofficial visitors in town.
Tease ranks as the No. 150 prospect and No. 16 cornerback in the country per the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks even higher in the On300, as the No. 127 prospect and No.15 cornerback nationally. The four-star has an On3 NIL Valuation of $18.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
