Texas A&M lands three-star EDGE Rylan Kennedy

Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge three-star EDGE Rylan Kennedy has committed to Texas A&M.

“First I would like to thank God for a huge blessing and transition in my life,” Kennedy said on social media. “And I would like to thank my family and coaches for all the support and helping me further on this process and grind. I also would like to thank (Lake Ridge) and Coach Shep for helping me become a better man and a player throughout the year. Lastly I would like to thank my Mother for supporting me through this journey and helping me get to where I needed to be for a good opportunity. With that being said I am blessed to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at Texas A&M University.”

Kennedy is the No. 716 overall recruit and No. 64 in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a ecomplete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.9k. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Kennedy is the 13th commitment for the Aggies in the 2023 class, the seventh prospect on the defensive side of the ball.
