WATCH: Texas A&M CB commit Jayvon Thomas has huge offensive performance in OT playoff win
If you have paid attention to 2023 top-100 cornerback and Texas A&M commit Jayvon Thomas in his career, you know he is a force on the defensive side of the ball. But you also know he can be an absolute playmaker with the ball in his hands on offense.
He showed that tonight in a 33-27 overtime win over Midlothian Heritage. His best play of the game came at the running back position, where he took for a 97-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
That was not his only contribution to the offense as he finished with 217 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
Thomas missed nearly the entire season with injury but has come back for the playoffs and has been unstoppable. He is trying to lead South Oak Cliff back to the state championship to defend their title.
