Purdue WR Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen commits to USF

Purdue transfer wide receiver Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen has committed to USF, he tells On3.

A former four-star recruit, he set a career high with 25 catches for 329 yards in six games in 2023. Injuries have been a struggle in the past. The grad transfer will be immediately eligible to play for the Bulls.

His list of scholarship offers included South Carolina, Minnesota, Mississippi State, East Carolina, Liberty and Kentucky. He picked USF over Vanderbilt and Michigan State, which he made visits to.

It’s a solid pickup for the Bulls, who will be able to pair Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen with Sean Atkins, who finished with 86 catches for 961 yards and five touchdowns this year. USF opens the 2024 season on Aug. 31 against Bethune-Cookman before visiting Alabama the following week.
