Georgia transfer OL Aliou Bah commits to Maryland
Georgia transfer offensive lineman Aliou Bah has committed to Maryland, he announced via social media. He is a former four-star recruit who spent two seasons with the Bulldogs.
Bah redshirted in his freshman season in 2022 and made three appearances in 2023. He saw some game action in Georgia’s games against UAB, Ole Miss and Tennessee this past season, and he’ll now be taking his talents to Maryland under head coach Mike Locksley.
After entering the portal, Bah came in as the No. 20-ranked interior offensive lineman transfer so far this cycle, according to the On3 Industry Transfer Rankings. He’s joining a Maryland unit that struggled this year, allowing 26 sacks — which ranked 10th out of the 14 teams in the Big Ten.
Aliou Bah played high school football at Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 352 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
