Arizona center Emmanuel Stephen entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He spent one season with the Wildcats.

Stephen played sparingly for Arizona this season, limited to just eight games. He averaged three minutes per game and now will look elsewhere.

As a member of the Class of 2024, Stephen was a four-star recruit out of Glendale (Ari.) Dream City Christian, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 5 overall prospect in the state, the No. 13 center in the class and the No. 97 overall prospect in the class.

Emmanuel Stephen latest Arizona Wildcat to enter portal

Stephen was just the latest Arizona player to hit the portal in the last few days. Guard KJ Lewis had plans to enter as well. He averaged 10.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game this past season.

Lewis spent two seasons at Arizona and took on a bigger role as a sophomore in 2024-25. He appeared in 37 games and made six starts as the Wildcats made a run to the Sweet Sixteen of the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

Lewis turned in one of his biggest games as a sophomore in one of Arizona’s biggest games of the year. He dropped 21 points as the Wildcats used a strong offensive attack to defeat rival Arizona State in the penultimate game of the regular season.

KJ Lewis played high school basketball at El Paso (TX) Chapin, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 81 overall player from the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
