Arizona DL Isaiah Ward enters the NCAA Transfer Portal

Arizona defensive lineman Isaiah Ward has entered the transfer portal.
Ward spent two seasons with the Wildcats, making 16 appearances. Ward played in all 13 of Arizona’s games in the 2023 campaign, tallying 30 tackles, five tackles for loss, four sacks, one pass defended and two forced fumbles.
The California native only played in three games during his true freshman season. He finished the year with two tackles, both for loss. Ward boasts rare size, standing at 6-foot-6, 230 pounds.
Isaiah Ward played high school football at Colony (Calif.), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 829 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Ward is only the latest Wildcat to hit the transfer portal, and he likely won’t be the last. Numerous Arizona players have entered their names after head coach Jedd Fisch left the program to take over at Washington.

Arizona in the transfer portal
Arizona has seen a handful of players elect to hit the transfer portal since losing head coach Jedd Fisch. After Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer left to take the Alabama job, Fisch was hired to replace him at Washington.
The Wildcats have seen 21 players total enter the transfer portal this cycle. On the other side of things, only four players have transferred into Arizona.
