Arizona DL Russell Davis II enters NCAA Transfer Portal
Arizona Wildcats defensive lineman Russell Davis II has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.
The decision comes after Jedd Fisch decided to move on from the Wildcats, taking his talents to the Washington Huskies to replace Kalen DeBoer, who decided to take over for Nick Saban following his retirement with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Davis II played high school football at Hamilton (AZ), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 837 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Time will tell where Russell Davis II takes his talents now, but the defensive lineman will be looking to come into his own wherever he ends up.

Arizona in the transfer portal
The Wildcats have seen 21 players total enter the transfer portal this cycle. On the other side of things, only four players have transferred into Arizona.
Arizona has seen a handful of players elect to hit the transfer portal since losing head coach Jedd Fisch. After Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer left to take the Alabama job, Fisch was hired to replace him at Washington.
