Arizona safety DJ Warnell Jr., OL Joseph Borjon enter NCAA Transfer Portal
A pair of Arizona football players entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on Tuesday evening, On3 has learned. The duo are safety DJ Warnell and offensive lineman Joseph Borjon.
Both players have years of playing experience, with Borjon earning playing time in 2023 after transferring from junior college in 2022. Warnell began his career at UCLA before transferring to the Wildcats the same year.
Borjon has multiple years of eligibility remaining, and Warnell has at least one.
In 24 games played at Arizona, Warnell has 41 total tackles, four tackles for loss — including three sacks — a pass batted down and a fumble recovery.
