Auburn defensive back Austin Ausberry enters transfer portal

Auburn defensive back Austin Ausberry has entered the transfer portal, On3 has learned.

One of the top commits in the 2022 class, the former four-star recruit redshirted his freshman season. He’s made two career tackles.

Losing Ausberry means the Tigers will likely look to add a safety from the transfer portal. Ausberry was ranked No. 258 overall, No. 23 safety and No. 13-ranked prospect in Louisiana.
