One of the top prospects in the transfer portal, former Texas A&M lineman Chase Bisontis is receiving plenty of interest. He has heard from 26 programs since hitting the open market, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Bisontis has heard from multiple SEC programs. LSU, Ole Miss, Arkansas and South Carolina are among the lengthy list of teams to reach out. On3’s Pete Nakos previously reported one of those teams could make a run at Bisontis and keep him in the conference.

Bisontis is the No. 10 overall player to hit the portal and the top-ranked interior offensive lineman to do so, according to the On3 Industry Transfer Rankings. He started all 12 games as a freshman at Texas A&M and earned as spot on the 2023 On3 Freshman All-American Team.

Chase Bisontis played high school football at Don Bosco Prep (N.J.) High School, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 46 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
