TCU transfer WR Cordale Russell visiting Colorado
Colorado has already had plenty of success in the transfer portal. The Buffaloes are hosting a former TCU receiver on a visit and hoping to have even more.
Wide receiver Cordale Russell is visiting Colorado on Friday, he posted on Twitter.
Russell just wrapped up his freshman season of college football. He appeared in three games for TCU this season but did not record a catch.
Cordale Russell signed with TCU as a four-star receiver and the No. 81 overall player in the country in the class of 2023, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also ranked as the No. 15 receiver in the nation.
He is currently ranked as the No. 38 receiver in the portal.
Prior to signing with the Horned Frogs, Russell attended North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas.
He finished his senior season of high school with 34 catches for 725 yards and nine touchdowns. He averaged more than 20 yards per catch that season.
As a junior in high school, he caught 21 passes for 317 yards and four scores. He would be an excellent weapon for Colorado to add.
