Colorado defensive back Jahquez Robinson, also a former Alabama player, is back in the transfer portal once again, On3 has learned. He recorded nine tackles in one year with the Buffaloes.

Back in Tuscaloosa, Robinson didn’t see a ton of playing time, or much at all, in his first two years. However, he did find playing time in six games back during his third season in 2022, where he totaled two tackles and half a sack. Then, he came to Colorado and put up the nine tackles plus one interception on the season.

For his fifth season, Robinson appears likely to find another new home.

Having originally committed to Alabama out of high school, you know Robinson was certainly a stellar recruit. He hails from Jacksonville, Florida, and played for Sandalwood High School, where he was a four-star recruit in the 2020 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also rated the No. 362 overall player and No. 34 cornerback in his cycle.
