Bowman, whom Clemson coach Dabo Swinney once compared to former Tigers star C.J. Spiller, ran for 81 yards on 14 carries for Florida last season after rushing for 32 yards on nine attempts at Clemson in 2020 prior to entering the transfer portal.
The Lakeland, Fla. native was rated as the third-best running back and 23rd-best overall prospect in the 2020 recruiting class according to the On3 Consensus Rankings.
Unless he receives a waiver from the NCAA, Bowman will have to sit out this season.
