Oregon set to host Michigan State DL Derrick Harmon
Michigan State defensive lineman Derrick Harmon is expected to visit Oregon this weekend, a source tells On3.
The former three-star recruit spent this past weekend at Auburn and Ohio State. The Buckeyes have been looking to add depth at the defensive tackle position in the portal. Harmon is now expected to make a West Coast swing for his portal recruitment, spending time with Dan Lanning and Tosh Lupoi.
In 25 games as a Spartan, Harmon tallied 71 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. A timetable has yet to be set for his decision, but the Ducks scoring a visit is considered significant. Washington had shown interest but the transfer defensive lineman will not be visiting the Huskies.
Derrick Harmon was a consistent option in the defensive tackle rotation this past fall, finishing with 40 total tackles.
