Michigan State DL Derrick Harmon withdraws from transfer portal

Michigan State defensive lineman Derrick Harmon has withdrawn from the transfer portal, On3 has learned.

The former three-star recruit took visits to Auburn, Ohio State and Oregon but has decided to stay in East Lansing. In 25 games as a Spartan, Harmon tallied 71 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.

Derrick Harmon was a consistent option in the defensive tackle rotation this past fall, finishing with 40 total tackles.
