East Carolina cornerback Antione Jackson enters the NCAA Transfer Portal
East Carolina cornerback Antione Jackson has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Jackson spent one season with the Pirates, tallying 10 appearances. Jackson finished his debut campaign with 19 tackles, three passes defended and one interception, which he returned for a touchdown.
Jackson initially committed to Georgia in high school. However, after reclassifying, Jackson flipped his commitment to join Miami. After Kevin Steele left Miami to become the defensive coordinator at Alabama, Jackson asked Miami to released him from his national letter of intent. The program complied and he ultimately signed with ECU.
Antione Jackson was the No. 248 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to On3 Industry Ratings, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was ranked as the nation’s No. 28 cornerback and the No. 46 senior recruit in the state of Florida.
