The Texas A&M Aggies and their head coach, Mike Elko, just picked up another commitment out of the NCAA Transfer Portal. On Monday, former Florida Atlantic Owls interior offensive lineman Dorian Hinton committed to the program for the 2024 season, joining Elko’s program revamping.

The former FAU interior offensive lineman who primarily started at guard for the Owls started his collegiate career at Middle Tennessee State in 2020. Hinton was on the Blue Raiders roster for two seasons, playing in just one contest before his first transfer, which landed him at Florida Atlantic. At FAU, Hinton would play in a total of 20 games at various positions along their offensive line.

Hinton played high school football at Naples High in Naples, FL, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1461 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
