FIU Golden Panthers linebacker Avery Huff has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Prior to his time with the Golden Panthers, Huff played for the Miami Hurricanes. He spent four seasons in the Miami program, including a redshirt season and the 2020 COVID-19 season. He transferred to FIU ahead of the 2023 season and is on the move again now.

Throughout his career, Avery Huff has played in 26 career games, including 12 in 2023. For his career, he has 23 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a sack.

Huff played high school football at St. Thomas Aquinas (FL) High School, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 201 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

To this point in his career, Avery Huff has played for two of three FBS programs in his native South Florida. However, if he stays in Florida moving forward remains to be seen.
