C Justice Ajogbor, Harvard
The Buzz: Justice Ajogbor, a 6-foot-10, 250-pound center, struggled with injuries early in his career. Once getting on the floor Ajogbor proved to be one of the better rim protectors in the conference. In 2023-24, Ajogbor’s 2.9 blocks per game led the Ivy League, while his 6.5 rebounds finished sixth. He played in 20 games this season, logging 23.0 minutes per contest. He averaged 8.4 points on 54.9 percent shooting from the field. The native of Nigeria by way of Arden (NC) Christ School, he brings a physical presence with a defined role.
G Kai Johnson, Western Washington (DII)
The Buzz: Kai Johnson is the only DII player on this list, however, his production is tough to ignore. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard at Western Washington University averaged 21.6 points this season with 4.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists. Johnson shot 41.6 percent from three on 3.5 attempts per game. F Chris Manon, Cornell
The Buzz: After officially entering the transfer portal in October, Chris Manon filled the stat sheet for Cornell this season. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound guard led the team with 12.6 points and 2.2 steals per game. While finishing second with 4.0 rebounds and third with 3.0 assists. Manon is an active defensive presence both on and off the ball, and offensively he can dribble, shoot, and pass. The ball does not stick with Manon as he has good floor vision, but he can also finish efficiently at the rim or in the mid-range. Maybe not a star, but Manon’s game affects winning.

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard has averaged 13.8 points over his 94 career games, scoring 13.0 or more each season. Mallette shot 41.5 percent from three on 5.1 attempts this season and is a career 80.6 free throw shooter. Mallette is a junior and a first-time transfer. His head coach was let go, giving the Pepperdine roster a 30-day window to enter the transfer portal without penalty.

The Buzz: Shooting is so valuable in today’s game, being able to space the floor while having multiple guys on the court who are a threat from beyond the arc. Dusan Neskovic is a 6-foot-8, 205-pound forward from Dartmouth. He is originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina and prepped at Salisbury (CT) The Hotchkiss School. Neskovic was the only player for Dartmouth in double figures this season as his 16.0 points finished seventh in the league. The forward has also knocked down 39.0 percent of his 37.7 percent of his threes on 5.0 attempts over his last two seasons.
