Florida State transfer Rodney Hill commits to FAMU
Florida State transfer Rodney Hill has committed to FAMU, he announced on Friday. The redshirt freshman running back will be staying in Tallahassee as he continues his college football career.
Hill rushed for 190 yards and one touchdown this season, which ranked third on the Seminoles team.
Rodney Hill was a part of Florida State’s 2022 recruiting class. He was ranked as a three-star recruit and the No. 506 overall player in the country in the class of 2022, according to the On3 Industry rankings.
He attended Bulloch Academy in Statesboro, Georgia prior to signing with Florida State.
Hill averaged 9.1 yards per carry as a senior in high school, finishing the year with 344 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught 12 passes for 152 yards and a score. He finished with 1,242 all-purpose yards over his final two seasons of high school football, averaging 138 yards per game. He took snaps at wide receiver, running back and defensive back in high school.
Hill will not be with Florida State as the Seminoles play Georgia in the Orange Bowl.
