Florida State transfer WR Goldie Lawrence commits to UCF
Former Florida State wide receiver Goldie Lawrence has committed to UCF, via the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Lawrence only played with the Seminoles for one season, and spent most of his time on the scout team. He appeared in just one game, against Southern Miss, and played five snaps without catching a pass.
Lawrence was the least productive of the four freshman receivers on the 2023 squad. Fellow freshman Destyn Hill caught six passes for 87 yards, Hykeem Williams caught five passes for 80 yards and a touchdown, and Vandrevius Jacobs caught three passes for 60 yards and a touchdown.
After catching 54 passes as a junior in high school, Lawrence played in only eight games as a senior. He caught 27 passes for 471 yards and seven touchdowns that season, while adding 89 yards and five touchdowns on 11 rushing attempts.
