Florida Atlantic transfer wide receiver Lajohntay Wester has officially committed to Colorado according to a post from his Instagram account.

One of the nation’s most explosive playmakers joins Deion Sanders in Boulder after spending the first four years of his college career with FAU.

Wester shined last season as a wide receiver and an impact player on special teams, ranking second in the nation in receptions with 108 catches along with 1,168 yards and eight touchdowns. He also returned 14 punts for 278 yards, finding the end zone on a punt return for a touchdown and a rushing score as well in 2023.

He earned American Athletic First-Team All-Conference honors at both wide receiver and on special teams following the season, also being named Special Teams Player of the Year for the AAC. Wester joins the Buffaloes with 3,838 all-purpose yards and 24 total touchdowns in his college career and will look to add his experience and production to the Buffaloes in 2024.

Wester played high school football at Palmetto (FL), where he was an unranked and unrated recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
