Former FSU receiver, UCF transfer Goldie Lawrence commits to Florida A&M
Former UCF wide receiver Goldie Lawrence, who began his career at Florida State, has landed at yet another new home in the state of Florida after entering the transfer portal.
On Friday afternoon, Lawrence announced on his Instagram page that he’s heading to Florida A&M to play football this upcoming season. Here was the message he posted along with his commitment post:
“TRUST YOUR PROCESS.. even when every one else went blind I seen my vision with a clear view #committed #13gonescore.” The post included a graphic of him in Florida A&M attire with the team name and logo included in the picture.
Lawrence did not register any stats during his time with Florida State. He entered the portal back on January 4th, but decided to re-enter after spring this time around.
Lawrence was the least productive of the four freshman receivers on the 2023 FSU squad. Fellow freshman Destyn Hill caught six passes for 87 yards, Hykeem Williams caught five passes for 80 yards and a touchdown, and Vandrevius Jacobs caught three passes for 60 yards and a touchdown.
