Former Kansas State running back Treshaun Ward commits to Boston College
Former Kansas State and Florida State running back Treshaun Ward has finally decided on where he will play football in 2024. After jumping into the NCAA transfer portal for the second time in his collegiate career, Ward has decided to head back to the ACC conference, committing to play for the Boston College Eagles.
After spending four years with the Seminoles, last offseason, the Plant City, FL native elected to leave his home state to play for the Wildcats. With Kansas State, Ward put up impressive numbers as he was used throughout their offense and some on special teams. The five-foot-10 senior running back finished last season with 124 carries for 643 yards, averaging 5.2 yards per carry, with five rushing touchdowns. Ward also had 17 receptions for 129 yards and two receiving touchdowns to go along with one passing touchdown of eight yards.
Ward played high school football at Tampa Bay Tech High, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1347 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
