The Tulsa Golden Hurricanes linebacker and former USC Trojan Julien Simon is in search of a new home. On Tuesday, On3 learned that the former four-star recruit has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

At USC, Simon redshirted his freshman year in 2021 and would only play in three games in 2022. During his redshirt freshman season, he did not record a single defensive stat for the Trojans. After the conclusion of the 2022 season, Simon would transfer to Tulsa, where he would frequently see the field and ample playing time. With the Golden Hurricanes, Simon would play in all 12 games for the program recording 58 tackles, 24 solo, 10 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, two passes defended, and recovered one fumble.

Simon played high school football at Lincoln High in Tacoma, WA, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 135 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
