Three Louisville offensive linemen set to enter transfer portal
Three Louisville offensive linemen are set to enter the transfer portal, a source tells On3.
Offensive tackles Reuben Unije, Trevonte Sylvester and Lance Robinson all plan to enter college football’s free agency. The trio all previously played at Houston.
Former Ohio State and Louisiana Monroe offensive lineman Victor Cuter was initially set to enter the portal. He updated On3 on Sunday night that he plans to stay at Louisville. He played 26 total snaps in five games for the Buckeyes in 2023 and transferred to Louisville in December.
Unije started 11 games for Houston in 2023 before transferring to Louisville in January. Sylvester played 12 games at right tackle in 2022 for the Cougars and transferred to the Cardinals in April 2023. He saw action in 11 games this last season with Louisville and played at tight end, too.

Robinson transferred into Houston from Middle Tennessee State and played in 13 games in the 2022 season. He played in just one game for Louisville this past year.
Transfer portal numbers for Louisville
Louisville went on a tear this past December in the transfer portal, adding 26 players. The Cardinals have also saw 21 players transfer out. They currently rank No. 1 in On3’s Transfer Portal Team Rankings with an index score of 91.
Tennessee EDGE defender Tyler Baron was Louisville’s best transfer addition, a top-25 portal ranking. South Alabama receiver Caulin Lacy and Toledo running back Penny Boone also ranked in the top-50. Louisville also added former Texas Tech and Oregon quarterback Tyler Shough.
The Cardinals are coming off of a 10-4 season and ACC Championship Game appearance in their first season under coach Jeff Brohm. They open the 2024 season on Aug. 31 against Austin Peay.
