Georgia State transfer offensive lineman Montavious Cunningham commits to Virginia Tech

After entering the NCAA transfer portal, Georgia State offensive lineman Montavious Cunningham has officially committed to Virginia Tech.

Cunningham joins the Hokies with two seasons of eligibility remaining in his collegiate career. The 6-foot-3, 305-pound tackle brings size and experience with him to Blacksburg, playing in 743 snaps last season for the Panthers with a blocking grade of 69.0 according to Pro Football Focus.

Cunningham played high school football at Athens (GA) Clarke Central, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,630 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
