Georgia transfer WR De'Nylon Morrissette commits to Purdue Boilermakers

Georgia transfer wide receiver De’Nylon Morrissette committed to the Purdue Boilermakers. He announced the move on Friday evening on his Twitter page. In the 2022 cycle, Morrissette was ranked as the No. 203 overall player in America and a four-star prospect, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

He played in 14 games the last two seasons for the Bulldogs. As a freshman in 2022, he hauled in four catches for 34 receiving yards.

Morrissette played his high school football for North Cobb (Kennesaw, Georgia) in his final season. He helped guide them to a 10-2 record and to the second round of the GHSA 7A state playoffs in 2021. As a junior in 2020, Morrissette guided Brookwood to an 8-3 record and the GHSA 7A state playoffs. He led the Mustangs with 63 catches for 824 receiving yards and seven touchdowns his junior year, hauling in 91.6 yards receiving per game.

His freshman and sophomore year, he attended St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland, home to one of the premiere football programs in the country.
