Houston transfer defensive lineman Chidozie Nwankwo commits to Colorado

After entering the NCAA transfer portal, former Houston Cougars defensive lineman Chidozie Nwankwo is coming, committing to Deion Sanders and Colorado on Monday.

Chidozie brings size and experience with him to Boulder, weighing 295 pounds and having 41 career games played under his belt in his four seasons with the Cougars. During his time in Houston, he recorded 95 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and 5.0 sacks.

Nwankwo played high school football at Richmond (TX) Foster, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 831 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
