Idaho Vandals linebacker Xe’ree Alexander has committed to transfer to the UCF Knights. He announced the move on social media.

“COMMITTED!!!! Excited for this new chapter of my life!!! Thank you to everyone that has been supporting me! #LetsGoKnightro,” Alexander posted.

At one point, Alexander was committed to Arizona State and drew a lot of interest as a transfer, including from teams like Nebraska. His brother and father, meanwhile, both played at Washington.

Alexander spent one season with the Vandals. During the season, Idaho went to the playoffs where the Vandals made a deep run before losing to Albany. They ended the season with a 9-4 record. Alexander showed bursts of his talent, with 29 tackles and two forced fumbles on the season.

Xe’ree Alexander played high school football at Kennedy Catholic (WA), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,383 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
