Illinois guard Sencire Harris enters NCAA Transfer Portal
Illinois Fighting Illini guard Sencire Harris has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has earned.
Harris played high school basketball at St. Vincent-St. Mary (OH), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 97 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
During his lone campaign with the Fighting Illini, Harris averaged 3.7 points and 0.9 assists while playing sparingly for Illinois. Wherever he ends up for the 2024-2025 campaign, he’ll be hoping to make a larger impact on the team he’s with in the future.

A four-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class, Boswell was a top 50 player coming out of Compass Prep in Champaign, Ill. He chose to play for Arizona over an initial offer from Illinois, as well as offers from Kansas, USC and others.
During his two seasons at Arizona, Boswell played over 30 games each season, and was a starter for the Wildcats this past year. Boswell played in 36 games, starting 35 of them. He averaged 0.6 points per game on 39.6% shooting from the floor, while dishing out 3.6 assists per game and 2.3 rebounds per game.
Boswell entered his name into the transfer portal on April 9. On3’s Jamie Shaw reportedshortly after that Illinois was a team to keep an eye on for Boswell the second time around.
