Jackson State wide receiver and former Oregon Ducks transfer Seven McGee has entered the transfer portal once again, On3 has learned.

In his two seasons with the Ducks, Seven McGee played in 15 games. In those games, he averaged 8.4 yards per catch on 18 catches. He also had 17 carries for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Seven McGee was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2021 and the No. 175 overall recruit in the class, according to the On3 Consensus. However, McGee is an undersized player who has played as a kind of hybrid running back and wide receiver. This means you need to be creative to use him effectively.

Wooten appeared in one game as a true freshman. He ended up redshirted during the 2022 season.

As a member of the Class of 2022, Wooten was a three-star recruit out of Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 32 overall prospect in the state, the No. 26 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 488 overall prospect in the class.

He released a statement on social media announcing his intentions.

“These past two years have been such a blessing and learning experience for me at the University of Oregon,” Wooten said in a statement. “I would like to thank the Athletic Administration for providing me an opportunity to grow as a student-athlete. I am grateful for all of the coaches and trainers who helped me on and off the field.

“I would also like to thank the Oregon fan base for supporting me and my teammates for uplifting me. To all the people with whom I’ve made connections that will last a lifetime, thank you. With that being said, with three years of eligibility remaining, I have made the decision to enter the transfer portal.”
