Texas A&M in the transfer portal

Following the 2023 season and the firing of head coach Jimbo Fisher, the Aggies saw 20 players leave the program. However, the hiring of head coach Mike Elko has seen the Aggies start to rebuild the roster and have the program competing again. Elko has brought in 23 players out of the transfer portal since his hiring.

Among the players Texas A&M added are Alabama transfer corner Dezz Ricks, Purdue edge Nic Scourton, and Bowling Green edge Cashius Howell, each of which are rated four-stars according to the On3 Industry rankings. The Aggies also lost a few players to the portal, including DL Walter Nolen (Ole Miss), WR Evan Stewart (Oregon), and DL LT Overton (Alabama).

Texas A&M’s transfer class is currently ranked No. 44 nationally by On3.
