Houston OT Jaylen Garth enters NCAA transfer portal
Houston offensive tackle Jaylen Garth entered the NCAA transfer portal. This is Garth’s second time in the portal after initially transferring from Texas.
Garth played in seven games for the Cougars this season after not seeing action in 2022. That was his first season at Houston after transferring from the Longhorns.
As a member of the Class of 2020, Garth was a four-star recruit out of Port Neches (Texas) Groves, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 33 overall prospect in the state, the No. 25 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 230 overall prospect in the class.
