Louisville defensive lineman Jeffery Clark has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He appeared in 13 games as a backup this past season.
Clark started his career at Georgia State before arriving at Louisville in 2023. In his reserve role, he had 14 tackles and 2.0 tackles for loss. At Georgia State, Jeffery Clark had 92 tackles along with 19.5 tackles for loss and 9.0 sacks over his three seasons with the program.
Louisville is fresh off a 42-28 loss to USC in the Holiday Bowl on Friday in San Diego. The Cardinals finished the season 10-4 after Jeff Brohm put together an impressive debut campaign as the head coach at his alma mater. They appeared in the ACC Championship, as well, where they fell to Florida State Dec. 2.
Louisville is also one of the early winners in the transfer portal. As of Dec. 29, the Cardinals hold the No. 1 spot in the On3 Team Transfer Portal Rankings with 16 commitments so far this cycle.
