Former Kentucky Wildcats tight end Izayah Cummings has committed to join the Louisville Cardinals via the NCAA Transfer Portal, he announced on Monday.

“I’M COMING HOME,” the Louisville native posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, announcing his move to the Cardinals.

Cummings played four seasons at Kentucky, serving a limited role. Cummings tallied a career-high 14 receptions and 195 yards in his junior campaign. Cummings was not as effective in 2023, failing to record a catch until Week 12 against South Carolina.

Cummings played high school football at Louisville (Ky.) Louisville Male, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 681 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
