Oregon, Washington to host Kansas State safety Kobe Savage
Kobe Savage will be headed to the West Coast for a string of visits this weekend.
A source close to the Kansas State transfer safety tells On3 that he will be making stops at Oregon and Washington this weekend. One of the Big 12’s top safeties over the last two seasons, he recorded 115 tackles and six interceptions in 22 games.
Under Dan Lanning, Oregon has played three safeties on the field during times this season. Adding Savage would give the Ducks another viable starting option in the secondary. The Huskies have had a talented secondary this year, with 16 interceptions on the season.
Kobe Savage played for two years at Tyler Junior College before landing in Manhattan, Kansas. He started his college career at Texas A&M Commerce. The safety entered the portal on Wednesday afternoon.
