Jahsiah Galvan, a transfer linebacker out of Northern Iowa, was originally committed to Wisconsin out of the portal. Now, he has changed his mind and will instead play for Stanford next fall.

Galvan shared the news with a graphic on social media on Sunday.

Galvan played the past two seasons for the Panthers. During his time in Cedar Falls, he posted 67 tackles, three deflections, a forced fumble, and a pick with most of that production coming this past season.

Galvan played high school football at West Liberty (IA) as a member of the 2022 cycle.

After entering the portal, Galvan originally committed to the Badgers back on December 22nd. Now, just under a month later, he has flipped that choice to the Cardinal.

Galvan is the first transfer addition for Stanford heading into their second season under Troy Taylor. That comes after the program has already lost eight players to the portal this cycle.
