Liberty cornerback Kobe Singleton intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal, he announced via X on Tuesday afternoon. After spending just two seasons with the program, Singleton will be looking to close out his college career elsewhere.

“I will be entering the transfer portal with 1 year of eligibility,” Singleton said. “Thank you to liberty for making a great home & culture. Thanks to all the coaches as well as this was one of the best years of my life. Tomorrow I will be officially in! FLAMES.”

This will not be the first time Singleton has gone through the process of transferring. He began his college career at Southern Utah but transferred to Liberty ahead of the 2022 season. Singleton recorded 67 tackles, six interceptions, and 24 passes defended during his time with the Flames.

Singleton was not rated per the On3 Industry Rankings coming out of high school but was viewed as the No. 47 cornerback in college football this season. A good guy on the outside has now hit the open market, hoping to land with a big-time program.
