Liberty transfer CB Preston Hodge commits to Colorado
Liberty transfer cornerback Preston Hodge has committed to Colorado. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
Hodge played in 25 games the past two seasons for Liberty, including playing in all 13 games this season as the Flames went undefeated. He had a highly productive season, with 48 tackles, including three for a loss, a pair of interceptions — including a pick six — among 10 passes defensed and a forced fumble. He had only one game in 2023 where he didn’t have multiple tackles. He had a career high nine tackles in mid-October and nearly tied that mark again a month later with eight in a game.
Prior to playing at Liberty, Hodge played junior college football for a year at Navarro College before transferring to the FBS level.
Hodge played high school football at Waxahachie (Texas) High School, where he was an unrated prospect in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
